Carolina Upstate

















The "Upstate" of South Carolina is a land of rolling hills where the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina often provide a backdrop.  This beautiful part of the state often missed by tourists headed to the "Grand Strand" is truly a painters paradise.  I have included in this section paintings of the Upstate as well as those of various sites located nearby in the North Carolina mountains.  In addition to the rolling hills and mountains, the Upstate has lovely lakes and I have included some paintings of Lake Hartwell where my husband and I have sailed for many years.
